New Series!

This weekend we are starting a new series called, "Underdogs: Finding The Hero In You." During this 4 week series we will be discovering that there are people in the Bible that God made heroes even though everyone else considered them an underdog.

This weekend, we wil be learning about Zacchaeus from Luke 19:1-10. Zacchaeus was a short man who collected taxes for the king and took more than he was supposed to. One day when Jesus came to town, Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see Him since he couldn't see over the crowd. When Jesus saw Zacchaeus, he asked him to come down and take Him to his house. Everyone was upset that Jesus would want to go hang out with someone like Zacchaeus. While Jesus was at his house, Zacchaeus had a change of heart - he said he was going to give back all of the people's money. In fact, he said he was going to give back more than he took! By seeking Jesus, Zacchaeus became a hero!

On February 7 and 8 we will be having a big courtyard party to close out the Underdogs series. We will have kids dress up as their favorite super hero and we will have some fun activities!
