Esther, A Queen With Courage

This weekend we are continuing our series, "Underdogs," and we are learning about Queen Esther. Esther was Jewish and one day a mean man named Haman tricked the king into signing a law that would get rid of all Jewish people. Queen Esther was the only one who could help. She needed to talk to the king, but she was scared. She wasn't allowed to visit the king unless he called for her. When Esther approached the king, he held out his scepter. That meant he wasn't mad at her and she could come talk to him. Queen Esther found the courage to tell the king what Haman had done and the king signed a new law that saved the Jewish people. Queen Esther became a hero because God gave her the courage to take action!
We can't wait to see you this weekend. Thank you for all that you do!
